Bal Perazim Christian Center II was conceived when Milton and Frances Everette prayed that God would send ministry help their way. After coming into contact with the preaching and teaching of Apostle (at that time Bishop) M.K. and D.A. Braxton, they traveled back and forth to Fayetteville, NC each Sunday to hear the awesome sermons from Bishop M.K. Braxton of Bal Perazim Christian Center. They knew Bishop Braxton and his wife Co Pastor Debra Braxton were truly anointed by God. The messages they preached brought breakthroughs in their lives and they wanted the people in Kannapolis to receive deliverance and breakthroughs also.

Eventually others started traveling to Fayetteville, from Kannapolis, weekly to hear the life changing messages. God answered the Everettes prayers and in 1999 Bishop Braxton and Copastor Debra Braxton answered the call from God and began to teach bible study in the home of the Everette’s in Kannapolis. Bishop Braxton came to Kannapolis every other Wednesday and began teaching a Bible study at the home of Milton and Frances Everette.

Due to ministry growth and development in Kannapolis, in 2000, because of the leading of the Holy Spirit, Bishop Braxton decided to move the home bible study into a facility on North Cannon Blvd. The initial Sunday morning service took place in June 2000 and from there Sunday morning services were on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month and were led by Copastor Debra Braxton in absence of Bishop Braxton who remained in Fayetteville to oversee the ministry there. She was the first Pastor of Bal Perazim in Kannapolis. In March 2002 by the leading of the Holy Spirit, Bishop Braxton installed Elder Kelvin L. Thompson as Pastor at Bal Perazim Christian Center II in Kannapolis, NC.

Then by faith, Bal Perazim Christian Center II transitioned to a shopping center as a store front in the Cloverleaf Shopping center in Kannapolis. From there, Elder Kelvin L. Thompson married Minister Jackalon E. Thompson and they continued to lead the vision established by Bishop M.K. Braxton.

In 2005, with the direction from God and the leadership of the now Apostle M.K. Braxton Bal Perazim II transitioned to East 20th St., which was considered the “launching pad”. Apostle Braxton called it the “launching pad” because it was time for BPII to do greater things for God and no longer rent a facility, but to build our own.

Three years later God opened a door for Bal Perazim Christian Center in Kannapolis to break ground and build a facility at 2305 Moose Road in Kannapolis, NC. Because of the faithfulness, obedience and love of Apostle M.K and Apostle D.A Braxton towards God’s vision and His people we are here today continuing to grow. Lives are being changed, strongholds have been broken, and God’s people are prospering into God’s purpose for their life.
